About This Project

Kosciusko County has over 100 natural lakes.

In order to protect the county’s valuable water resources, a concerted effort on the part of the community is necessary. For this reason, Grace College is embarking on an initiative to help the citizens of Kosciusko County promote and protect the quality of their waters.

What We Do

Documenting historical/social settings and trends around lakes.
Establishing a water quality database and supporting existing water-monitoring programs.
Developing an aquatic science curriculum and use of locally generated water data.
Establishing infrastructure for sustainable management and stewardship of Kosciusko lakes.

Enter the 4th Annual Wonderful Water Student Art Contest!

Students in grades 4-12 are invited to submit artwork for a chance to win a cash prize and have their artwork publicly displayed.

Christmas trees as fish habitat may need permit
